The John F. Kennedy Middle School Drama Club is staging “Descendants: The Musical” on April 18 and 19, 2026.
The musical performances are at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2026 and Sunday, April 19, 2026; and 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2026, in the school gymnasium, 12350 S. Essington Road, Plainfield.

Ticket sales will help support the club and future productions.
“Descendants: The Musical” is based on the Disney Channel original movie featuring the children of classic Disney villains Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil.
These teenagers are imprisoned on an island until one day they are sent to a prep school where the children of beloved Disney heroes attend.
Once there, the villainous teenagers have a difficult choice: follow their parents' wicked ways or learn to be good?
